Adopting

All animals cared for by SparKy receive a thorough vet exam, vaccinations, heartworm testing and treatment if needed for dogs, FIV/FeLeuk testing for cats, parasite control, as well as treatment for any illness that they might have. They will also be spayed or neutered, prior to going to their new home. Anyone adopting a pet from SparKy will be required to sign an adoption contract, as well as pay an adoption fee. The adoption fees are as follows:

• Kitten (up to 1 year old)        $75.00
• Adult Cat (1 year & up)          $50.00
• Puppy (up to 1 year old)      $125.00
• Adult Dog (1 year & up)       $100.00

If you are interested in adopting an animal from us, please fill out the adoption application below.  This form helps speed up communication between you and the group but does not guarantee an adoption.

To be considered, you must:

• Be 21 years of age or older.

(Ages 18 -21 are considered on a case to case basis.)

• Have identification showing your current address
• Have the knowledge and consent of your landlord (if applicable)
• Be able and willing to spend the time necessary to provide proper care for the animal
• Be able and willing to take the animal to the vet for routine and emergency vet care
