What a unique boy! Bahb is about a two year old mix with a cleft pallet and cleft lip. He had a rough start to life as he almost didn’t make it b/c he was unable to suckle like the other babies. However, he survived and has turned out to be such a big love bug. Bahb was rescued from a kill shelter. Afterall, who could resist that face? Bahb has no issues eating now and is a healthy boy. He is close to being housebroken and crate-trained. He does great with kids of all ages. He is just looking for a place he can call his permanent home. Fiona’s Story…
Fiona is a spayed female rat terrier that is about 5-6 years old. She is working on her house training. Fiona can be shy at first. She has had a difficult life and has been bred no telling how many times. She enjoys sitting in her person’s lap but can be a little dramatic when she’s picked up b/c she doesn’t always trust that she won’t be dropped. Fiona does fair with other dogs but she gets jealous easily and wants to be the center of attention. Fiona needs to be in a home with no cats or one where she can be closely supervised. She likes to chase cats…a lot. Fiona is working on being housebroken and would need someone to work with her and show her some patience. Henry’s Story…

Henry is a 1 yr old neutered male rat terrier/dachshund mix. Henry was turned into a local shelter after being hit by a car. Henry’s pelvis was broken and he spent several days at the vet’s office being treated. After he was rescued by us, he spent six weeks confined to a crate in order for his pelvis to heal. He has been x-rayed again and the vet has cleared Henry for adoption. Henry’s pelvis has healed but it is not in perfect condition. Because of this, Henry may need medication and/or surgery later on in his life. He will need an adopter committed to making sure he is comfortable as he gets older. Henry is a super sweet boy who likes to be held. He is crate trained but because his time out of his crate has been limited, we are unsure if he is totally housebroken. Henry gets along with other dogs and does fine with cats too. Henry likes to sit in your lap and loves to be loved on.

William and Kate are 6 month old rat terrier mixes. William and Kate are shy. They desperately want human contact but run to the back of the kennel when the door is opened. They like to be held and don’t play a whole lot b/c they haven’t had much experience with play. They do enjoy each other’s company so we believe they’d do fine with other dogs. They (like their mother) probably need to be in a home with no cats or be closely supervised around cats. They are working on being housebroken.
